Worship Service and Congregational Meeting

Live via Zoom on November 15th at 10 am

We will begin with worship at 10:00am "live" via Zoom, followed by the meeting to vote on nominations and spending plan for 2021. The Zoom link information will be sent by mail and email to all voting members in advance. If you're not a voting member, please email for the Zoom link to the worship service.  A test run for those who have never used Zoom is available on November 1 at 12:00pm to test your ability to participate.  Please contact the Pastor or a council member in advance with any questions.

This "live" worship service will replace our usual pre-recorded

online worship service.

Wine and the Word

The uncorking of our inaugural Wine and the Word Bible tasting and wine study will run on Sundays at 7-8 pm from October 18th through November 22nd via Zoom and will include discussion of biblical references to wine and a study involving the book How to Pray by R.A. Torrey.  Please contact Anthony Capone at for further details if you would like to participate.

Pray with the whole church at noon everyday!

Almighty and  merciful God, you are the only source of health and healing; you alone can bring calmness and peace.  Grant to us, your children, an awareness of your presence and a strong confidence in you.  In our pain, our weariness, and our anxiety, surround us with your care, protect us by your loving might, and permit us once more to enjoy health and strength and peace; through Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord.  Amen.

Memorial Bricks for the Prayer Garden

Do you ever wish you could remember a loved one in

a special, quiet place?  If you wish, you can purchase a memorial brick for the Bob Zimmer Prayer Garden behind the church building!  It has recently undergone many improvements - if you have not ventured up there, please take a stroll up and look around.  Contact the church office at for further information about placing an order for memorial bricks.

Water Well Mission Project

The lack of access to clean water is one of the biggest challenges to overcoming poverty.  It's also one of the most powerful opportunities to create change!  With a simple well, as many as 500 families gain access to clean water.  People then spend less money on medical expenses and more on food and education.  Our goal is to raise $2,500 for a simple water well.  Donations of any amount are welcomed!  Please make checks out to St. Luke's Lutheran Church and write "For Water Well" on the memo line.
